Hirahara, MD, FRCSC (Sacramento, CA), performs a cadaveric demonstration of a midsubstance Achilles tendon rupture repair using the Percutaneous Achilles Repair System (PARS) and ultrasound assistance. The PARS system can be used with ultrasound guidance to show the passage of the suture percutaneously into the tendon and to assist in drilling placement for the anchors in the calcaneus.
